Day By Day Itinerary

Day 1: USA / Beijing

Fly to Beijing, the capital of China.

Day 2: Arrive Beijing

Our tour guide will greet you at the airport and escort you to a five star hotel.

Day 3: Beijing

Visit Tiananmen Square, the largest public city square in the world. Stroll through the courtyards and palaces of the imposing Forbidden City, once the exclusive enclave of Ming Dynasty Emperors. Explore the landscaped grounds and pavilions of the Summer Palace. Stop to take pictures of the stunning 2008 Olympic venues before returning to hotel. Dinner is served with Peking Duck Banquet in Beijing Opera house, and enjoy China’s national opera, Beijing Opera.

Day 4: Beijing

Experience the thrill of walking on the Great Wall. After lunch, tour Beijing’s old Hutong (”narrow lanes”) area by old-fashioned pedicab. Climb up the Drum Tower. Visit a local family living in a courtyard-style home known as Siheyuan. Then Visit Prince Gong's Mansion, which is known as one of the most ornate and extravagant residence compounds in all of Beijing. Enjoy the “Legend of Kungfu” show at night.

Day 5: Beijing

Beijing / Shanghai: Visit the Temple of Heaven, where the Emperor prayed for harvest in Ming and Qing dynasty. Then enjoy shopping at Wangfujing shopping district. Fly to Shanghai, hop aboard a cruiser off the Huangpu River, enjoy the magnificent twinkling night scenery.

Day 6: Shanghai

Bus tour of Pudong. Go up to the top of the highest tower of Asia, the Oriental Pearl Tower, enjoy a bird’s eye view on the great Shanghai. Then visit the Old City Bazaar and the tranquil Yu Yuan Garden, established in the 16th century. Enjoy a traditional Shanghai Dumpling lunch. Take a walk along the Bund, Shanghai’s graceful and historic waterfront boulevard.

D7. Shanghai / Hangzhou

Take a private bus to Hangzhou, one of the seven capitals of ancient China, known for its tea products and the West Lake. Take a small boat cruise on the West Lake, revealing the ethereal beauty of Hangzhou’s willow draped islands. Then visit General Yuefei’s Temple. He was a well known national hero of ancient China. Dinner is served at a famous local restaurant, named “Shanwaishan”.

D8. Hangzhou / Suzhou

Take a private bus to Suzhou, which is called “Venice of the East”, and it has China’s most beautiful gardens. Visit the Humble Adminis- trator’s Garden, one of the four most famous gardens of China. It is the largest garden in Suzhou and generally considered the finest garden in southern China. Then visit Tiger Hill Park and Suzhou Silk Spinning Factory. Take a walk on Shantang Ancient Streets. Dinner is served at a famous local restaurant, named “Deyuelou”.

D9. Suzhou / Nanjing

Take a private bus to Nanjing, which served as the capital of six dynasties in China. Visit Dr. Sun Yat-Sen's Mausoleum, Xuanwu Lake and the remains of the City Wall of Ming Dynasty. Enjoy Qinhuai Cuisines for Dinner. Explore the Night Market of Confucian Temple.

D10. Nanjing / Xian

Fly to Xian, the starting point of the historical silk road. Visit the Bell Tower, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Museum of Shanxi Province.

D11. Xian

The Terra Cotta Warriors is China’s most impor- tant archaeological site, thousands of life-sized terra cotta warriors and horses buried 2000 years ago to guard the tomb of the first emperor. Visit the excavation site and tour the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum to learn more about their fascinating history. Then visit Huaqingchi and the Ancient City Wall. Enjoy an Imperial Dumpling Banquet and the world famous Tang Dynasty Stage Show tonight.

D12. Xian / Guilin

Fly to Guilin, visit the Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill, which is the symble of the city.

D13. Guilin - Li River Cruise - Yangshuo

Marvel at the lovely, dream-like landscapes on your Li River cruise. Walk through scenic rice paddies to a local farm and Moon HIll, stop by the lively Yangshuo Bazaar before strolling Xijie. Enjoy a manificent live performance, Impressional Sanjie Liu, a story of a minority girl, directed by the Oscar winner, Zhangyimou.

D14. Yangshuo - Guilin / Guangzhou (Canton)

Back to Guilin, visit the Fubo Hill Park, which offer a panoramic view of the city. Then fly to Guang- zhou, the largest city of Southern China, home of the yummy Cantonese cuisines. Visit Sun Yat- Sen Memorial Hall.
